I've had a few people ask me where I make my cigar box Edison lamps? The answer, my closet located in the guest room. Don't think I've been punished by any means though. The closet is bigger than my wife's in the Master bedroom, and houses my wardrobe and now my business. My work space is an antique desk that came out of the Stern Hall attic and a chair that came from Rosenwald Hall's attic, both from Dillard University in the early 2000s. (They were bound for the dumpster and my wife rescued them).
I installed a shelf to hold the stacks of cigar boxes that have yet to become lamps and finished lamps for individual sales or consignment at NOLA Boards hang out around the house plugged in until they are ready to be delivered.
